Join us on Saturday night for this must see event. You’ll be given a voting form, then sit back and enjoy the performances as 25 groups contend for your vote. Enjoy fast, dynamic performances and get to see the best Cultural Fest performers have to offer. Cultural Fest staff will collect your completed voting form and tally up the votes.

Winners will be announced on Saturday at 9:30pm – be there to see if your favourite won!

 

Performers Information


Tesaa Cultural Troupe


The Tesaa Cultural Troupe is a member of the National Association of Traditional Dancers under the Centre for National Culture, Ghana. The group comes from Accra, the capital city of Ghana and consists of well accomplished professional musicians, drummers, dancers and theatre artists drawn from all the regions of the country.


The group uses music, drumming and dance as means of promoting and educating people on their rich African cultural heritage. They have performed their blend of Ghanian drumming, dance and traditional folk music at both national and international levels since their formation in 1999.

 


Gulumba Dance Group


The Gulumba Dance Group is a professional Aboriginal dance group sharing traditional dance of our clan group which are a part of the Indinji / Yidinji nation of the Far North Queensland rainforest, situated between the area of Cairns and the Russell River. Visit www.gulumbadancegroup.com.au
