An exciting concert will feature our best Pacific Island entertainment. Lively performances include a Hula ‘dance off’; drum beats and large male and female dance troops. Join the colour and excitement as the best of the Pacific take to the stage!
A magical part of this evening is the traditional welcoming ceremony of the arrival of Pacific Islanders onto the shore of Strand Park Beach to be greeted by Indigenous elders. Traditonal Torres Strait and Pacific Islander canoes will carry the groups around the bay as they arrive in their full costume and glory.
