The conference reflects the reality of Australia as the most ancient Indigenous Landmass while being a modern state in a unique position with access to vast human resources represented through many cultures and world views. The nation is in a position to take leadership and contribute to the solution of worldwide problems and challenges.

Townsville has a unique and dynamic cultural heritage and we strongly support projects and initiatives the build and promote that reputation.
