Following last year's huge response, the Tropigo Street Carnival is on again! Crowds will line the Strand to watch 50 colourful floats,marching groups and dancers show off the spirit of the Cultural Fest.

Join in the festivities of this ‘Tropical Extravaganza,’ Coral Sea and Pacific themes, music, dance and costumes will be a dominant feature of this exciting feature.

Find a viewing spot anywhere along the Strand - Tropigo Carnival will be starting at the Rock pool and traveling along the Strand to Oxley Street.

Come watch the colour, festivity and magic of Townsville’s colourful street carnival.

Push Bike for Earth Rally

The Push Bike for Earth Rally will kick off the Tropigo Carnival. Join hundreds of other riders and bring your bike to the Strand for Cultural Fest. This initiative is being led by the Townsville Cycle Club.
