Sponsorship Opportunities

The Townsville Cultural Fest engages an impressive cross-section of the Townsville region, unavailable to any other single event or PR medium.  This target group includes the Indigenous and ethnic communities (both here and overseas), schools, religious organisations, cultural groups, businesses, farming and art communities. With such an extensive network of stakeholders, any brand promoted through the TCFest can be guaranteed of reaching a range of broad and diverse target groups.

In addition, the festival’s lengthy build up and consistent PR campaign means long term and continued exposure for all our sponsors. Our PR campaign runs from December 2019 until August 2020.

Finally, the TCFest campaign is unique in its delivery, which includes a range of alternate promotional tools as well as the traditional mediums of print, radio and electronic media. Some of our more interesting PR activities include: street art, shopping centre displays and performances, art exhibitions, the Festival Street Carnival, large art features, and school art competitions.  And the list goes on.

Sponsors may join and support the TCFest via the following categories, attracting various levels of brand acknowledgement and privileges:

TCFest Supporter

Sponsor privileges:

  • Inclusion of the supporter’s business logo and a 7 by 5 cm display advertisement in the festival program (50,000 printed and distributed) and the festival website
  • Ability to place two promotional banners at the festival site
  • Specific acknowledgement post on the festival Facebook page
  • Acknowledgement of the supporter during the festival ceremonies by the MCs, and
  • 4 VIP event festival passes.

Qualifying amount: $1,000 contribution

 

TCFest Bronze Sponsor 

Ten spots available
Sponsor privileges:

  • Inclusion of the supporter’s business logo and a 14 by 7 cm display advertisement in the festival program (50,000 printed and distributed) and the festival website
  • Ability to place 5 promotional banners at the festival site
  • Featured in a specially produced promotional video clip to be posted on social media and the festival website.
  • On-stage acknowledgement of the sponsor during the festival by the festival founder and organiser
  • Placement of the sponsor’s promotional banners on significant festival art features during the festival carnival.
  • Dedication of a particular festival giant sculpture to the sponsor, and placement of the sponsor’s promotional material around the giant art feature during the lead up to the festival, the Festival Carnival, highly visible places around Townsville and at the festival
  • The inclusion of the sponsor’s logo on the festival poster
  • Live web link from the festival site to the sponsor’s business website
  • 15 VIP event passes, and
  • The inclusion of the sponsor’s logo within the program booklet for the National Unity in Diversity Conference (Brisbane, July 2020).

TCFest Silver Sponsor

Sponsor privileges:

  • Inclusion of the supporter’s promotional logo and a 20 by 15 cm display advertisement in the festival program catalogue (50,000 printed and distributed) and the festival website
  • Ability to place 10 promotional banners at the festival site
  • A specially and exclusively produced 1-minute promotional video clip to acknowledge the brand sponsorship. This clip will be placed on the festival Facebook page, social media and the festival website
  • On-stage acknowledgement of the sponsor during the festival by the festival founder and organiser
  • Placement of the sponsor’s promotional banners on the significant festival art features during the festival and the carnival.
  • Dedication of a particular festival giant sculpture to the sponsor, and placement of the sponsor’s promotional material around that giant art feature during the lead up to the festival, the Festival Carnival, highly visible places around Townsville and at the festival
  • The inclusion of the sponsors' logo on the festival poster
  • Live web link from the festival website to the sponsor’s business website
  • The inclusion of the sponsors logo in TV, newspaper and radio commercials

Sponsor privileges:

  • Appearance of the sponsor’s business brand and logo on the festival banner and promotional signs
  • Inclusion of the sponsor’s logo and a 30 by 20 cm (full page) display advertisement in the festival program (50,000 printed and distributed) and the festival website
  • Ability to place 20 promotional banners at the festival site
  • A specially and exclusively produced 2 minute promotional video clip to acknowledge the brand sponsorship. This clip will be placed on the festival Facebook page, social media and the festival website
  • On-stage acknowledgement of the sponsor during the festival by the festival founder and organiser and celebrity presenters
  • Dedication of a leading festival giant sculpture to the sponsor during the Festival Carnival. This will involve decorating the giant statue with the sponsor’s signage 
  • The inclusion of the sponsor's logo on the festival poster
  • Live web link from the festival site to the sponsor’s business website
  • Inclusion of the sponsor’s logo in TV, newspaper and radio commercials
  • 60 VIP event passes
  • Placement of the sponsor’s promotional banner around the performing stages and on the sides of the stage backdrop, and
  • Inclusion of the sponsor’s business brand and logo within the National Unity In Diversity Conference promotional campaign (July 2020), which includes an impressive range of exposure through various mediums to a national audience in Brisbane.

Sponsor privileges:

  • Appearance of the sponsor’s business brand and logo on large size festival billboards and banners
  • Inclusion of the sponsor’s logo and a 30 by 20 cm display advertisement on the back cover of the festival program (50,000 printed and distributed) and website  
  • Ability to place 25 promotional banners at the festival site
  • A specially and exclusively produced 3 minute video clip with mention of the sponsor’s support.  This clip will be placed on the festival Facebook page, social media and the festival website
  • Promotion of your brand to be placed on social media and the festival website.
  • On-stage acknowledgement of the sponsor’s brand during the official ceremonies of the festival by the festival founder and organiser and also by celebrities during headline acts
  • Placement of the sponsor’s business banner on the giant Koala festival mascot during the festival carnival and the event
  • Inclusion of the sponsor’s logo on the festival poster on the top of the page next to the TIC logo
  • Live  link from the festival site to the sponsor’s business website

Festival Partner

The TCFest Festival Partner is a privileged position for a like-minded agency that intends to continue a long-term relationship with the festival beyond the 25th anniversary. In addition to the above Platinum Sponsor privileges, the Festival Partner will also enjoy the following exclusive naming right privileges:

  • The Festival Street Carnival
  • The Unity In Diversity Conference
  • Festival Postcard
  • Festival T Shirt
  • Festival Program Catalogue and
  • Performing Stage.

The festival partner will also be entitled to 30% of the income generated by the festival.
